HAMILTON TWP., OH – a woman sustained critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle in southern Franklin County on Thursday night.
The incident occurred around 9:25 p.m. in the vicinity of Alum Creek Drive, just north of Toy Road in Hamilton Township.
The Obetz Police Department was alerted to a woman acting strangely in the parking lot of the Sheetz gas station on Alum Creek Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the woman had been hit by a vehicle further up the road.
The driver of a 2010 grey Chevy Malibu, reportedly involved in the crash, claimed that the woman had suddenly run into the road without warning.
The injured woman was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. Her identity is not mentioned in the report.
