BATH TWP., OH – The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that a child lost his life in a single-vehicle car crash in Summit County on Sunday night.
Troopers responded to the incident on I-77 near Ghent Road in Bath Township at approximately 11 p.m.
Investigators stated that the Honda’s driver struck a guardrail on the left side of the highway, causing the vehicle to flip over multiple times before coming to a stop.
Two juveniles were involved in the crash. One of which, a boy, had been ejected from the Honda car and sustained serious injuries. He was rushed to Cleveland Clinic Akron General, where he was later pronounced dead.
The other occupant reportedly suffered only minor injuries.
