COLUMBUS, OH – A cyclist died Saturday morning from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run crash along the interstate in Columbus on Friday night.
Crews responded to the intersection of South High Street at Southgate Drive around 10:20 p.m. This is west of the Columbus Fire Station 22 and east of the Scioto River.
Police say a vehicle struck the cyclist and fled the scene.
Medics transported the female victim to a local hospital in critical condition, and she died the next morning. Authorities have not yet released her identity.
Officials ask anyone with information or tips to share about the crash to conduct the Columbus Police Department.
