Narrative
COLUMBIANA CO., OH – A 45-year-old man died on Monday after a solo crash along the highway near Lisbon and Elkton in Elkrun Township.
The incident happened just after 12:30 a.m. on the southbound side of Route 11 near the exit for Rogers and Lisbon.
Police say that the driver of the vehicle lost control and hit both the guardrail and the median, which caused the vehicle to overturn. The force of the collision threw the unrestrained driver from his vehicle, and he died at the scene. Authorities identified the man as 45-year-old Arthur Stroud.
Medics transported a passenger from the vehicle to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
