Narrative
HOLGATE, OH – A 21-year-old woman died Friday in a two-vehicle collision involving a semi along Highway 281 in Holgate.
The incident happened in the morning at the intersection with Highway 108, which is less than 10 miles south of Napoleon.
The investigation indicates that the victim was eastbound when she ran a stop sign and collided with at truck in the intersection.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle, identified as Allison Long, died in the crash.
Medics airlifted the truck driver to the hospital with serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
