Narrative
WARREN CO., OH – Two vehicles collided head-on along the interstate in Warren County on Thursday, killing a teen boy.
The incident happened around 1:40 a.m. on Interstate 71.
Police say that a northbound Jeep Grand Cherokee entered the southbound side of the interstate and collided head-on with a southbound 18-wheeler. The force of the collision caused the semi to overturn.
The 17-year-old driver of the Jeep died at the scene of the accident.
Medics transported the truck driver to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
