Narrative
POLAND, OH – Two people went to the hospital Wednesday from injuries sustained in a wrong-way crash along a highway in east-central Mahoning County.
The incident occurred in the evening along Route 224 east of Struthers Road, which is just northwest of Poland Township Park.
Police say that two vehicles collided head-on, injuring both drivers. Both victims are expected to recovery.
Drivers likely experienced delays along the Route 224 in the area of the crash while crews worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
