Narrative
SPRINGFIELD, OH – A 21-year-old woman died Saturday from injuries sustained in a Springfield crash involving two ATV vehicles.
The incident occurred around 12:49 a.m. in the 3200 block of Ballentine Pike, which is north of Johnson Road on the northwest side of the city.
Police say that a northbound ATV carrying two people sideswiped a second ATV. The first ATV then overturned after leaving the roadway and crashing into a fence.
The passenger in the first ATV, identified as Kylie E. Coffey, died after transport to an area hospital.
The driver of the first ATV went to the hospital with critical injuries.
It’s unclear if anyone in the second SUV was hurt.
