SALEM, OH – Medics airlifted two men to the hospital on Wednesday after a two vehicle crash involving a van and a pickup truck at an intersection in Salem Township.
The incident happened at 2:44 p.m. at the intersection of OH-45 and OH-558, which is just northwest of Little Beaver Creek and just southeast of Pure Gold Horse Stables.
Police say that the driver of a van caused the accident when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection. The van then struck the truck, causing both vehicles to crash through the guardrail and into a patch of trees on the side of the roadway.
