Narrative
COLUMBUS, OH – A 15-year-old and a 16-year-old died last Saturday night in a two-vehicle collision in northwest Columbus.
The incident happened just before 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Carmack Road and West Lane Avenue, which is just west of Ohio State University.
Police say that a vehicle carrying five occupants neglected to stop for a red light and crashed into an SUV.
The two teen victims were passengers in the car that ran the red light. They died at the scene of the collision.
Medics transported three other people from that vehicle along with two people from the SUV to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
