Narrative
COLUMBUS, OH – One person died on Thursday afternoon in Columbus after a two-vehicle collision near Ohio State University.
The incident occurred just north of the intersection of North High Street and Frambes Avenue, which is just east of the North Recreation Center.
The investigation thus far indicates that a northbound black Jeep Patriot veered into the left southbound lane and struck a southbound Mazda CX-5 head-on.
The driver of the Jeep died after transport to a local hospital. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
Nobody was hurt from the Mazda.
The investigation is ongoing.
