Narrative
CONCORD TOWNSHIP, OH – A passenger died, and three people were injured when a sedan and a pickup truck collided at an intersection between Ostrander and Delaware.
The collision occurred at 6 p.m. at the intersection of Concord Road and Moore Road, which is west of the Scioto River and east of US-42.
Police say that a westbound 2019 Ford F-350 struck a northbound 2007 Honda Civic when the driver of the Honda failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and entered the path of the pickup truck.
A passenger from the Honda died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released their identity to the public.
The driver of the Honda sustained serious injuries, while the driver and a passenger from the Ford went to the hospital with minor injuries.
Officials say that one of the drivers may have been intoxicated at the time of the accident. A full investigation is underway.
