Narrative
FAIRFIELD CO., OH – A man from Hebron was killed in a collision with a semi-truck northwest of Lancaster on Wednesday morning.
OHP troopers say 64-year-old Connie Stringer was traveling east on Coonpath Road near State Route 158 shortly before 8 a.m. when the vehicle slammed into the semi as attempted to make a left turn onto a private driveway.
Stringer sustained serious injuries and was transported to Mt. Carmel East Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was also taken to Fairfield Medical Center with serious injuries.
