Narrative
SPRING VALLEY, OH – A 34-year-old woman died early Friday in a wrong-way crash along the highway in southwest Greene County.
The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. on the southbound side of US-42 just north of Richland Road in Spring Valley.
Police say that a northbound Subaru Forester entered the southbound lanes of US-42 and collided head-on into a southbound Ford F250.
The driver of the Subaru, identified as Ashley Lewis of Xenia, died at the scene.
Medics airlifted the 41-year-old driver of the Ford to the hospital with critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
