Narrative
NEW LEXINGTON, OH – A 22-year-old man died Wednesday from injuries sustained in a head-on collision in central Perry County.
The incident occurred in the morning on OH-37 at Melon Hill Road, which is just east of Artheusa Springs Park in New Lexington.
Police say that the victim was headed westbound in a 2006 Toyota Corolla when he entered the eastbound lanes of the highway and crashed head-on into an eastbound 2018 GMC truck hauling a car trailer.
The wrong-driver, identified as Ronald Boggs, died after transport to a local hospital.
