Narrative
WOOSTER, OH – A wrong-way collision along the highway in Wooster late Thursday afternoon killed two 20-year-old men and injured a 56-year-old woman.
The incident occurred at 4:32 p.m. along OH-83 at mile marker 7. OH-83 runs north to south on the east side of town.
The investigation thus far indicates that a southbound teal 1993 Dodge Stealth veered into the northbound lane of OH-83 and collided with a northbound taupe 2006 Chrysler Town and Country minivan.
The two occupants of the Dodge, identified as Damion D. Torrence and Dalton R. Cisler, died at the scene of the accident.
Medics transported the driver of the minivan to a local hospital with non-critical injuries.
Police are still investigating what might have caused the driver of the Dodge to lose control of the vehicle.
